That’s exactly why I decided to try the day use package at Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort in Mactan, Cebu.

I’ve always liked the tropical atmosphere here, and personally, I enjoy visiting on weekdays when everything feels quieter and more relaxing.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a refreshing citrus lemongrass welcome drink. A simple but pleasant way to start my little getaway.

What I love about Bluewater Maribago is its laid-back tropical setting. With its greenery, swimming pools, and beachfront, you can easily forget about the busy city life, even just for a few hours.

And if you ask me, weekdays are the best time to visit if you want a more peaceful experience.

Beach, Pool, and Pure Relaxation

One of the best things about the day use package is having access to the resort’s beach and swimming pools.

You can take a refreshing dip, lounge by the beach, or simply find a quiet corner to relax.

There’s no need for a packed itinerary or rushing from one activity to another. Just enjoy the surroundings and take your time.

Sometimes, doing absolutely nothing is exactly what makes a getaway worthwhile.

The Highlight: Complimentary Lunch Buffet!

Now, here’s my favorite part of the experience!

And looking at the spread, mabusog gyud ka! There’s a good variety of dishes and desserts to choose from, making lunch one of the highlights of the day.

Two stations particularly stood out for me.

The make-your-own halo-halo station was definitely a favorite. I enjoyed choosing my own ingredients and putting together my perfect halo-halo, especially after spending time outdoors.

I also loved the pasta station, another nice addition to the buffet.

For someone who loves food as much as I do, having a lunch buffet included in the day use rate makes the experience even more enjoyable.

And after eating, you can head right back to the pool or beach for another round of relaxation.
