If there’s one thing I love about traveling, it’s discovering food spots that offer great value for money. And during my recent trip to Bangkok, I experienced what I would personally call the biggest seafood buffet I’ve ever tried!

Welcome to Kodtalay The Riverfront Seafood Buffet, where an overwhelming selection of seafood, international dishes, and Thai favorites awaits—all for just 599 baht + 49 baht for drinks + 7% tax= 694 baht (approximately ₱1,200)!
A Seafood Lover’s Paradise

The moment I saw the buffet spread, I was overwhelmed by the sheer variety of food available.
From river prawns, crabs, fresh oysters, and different kinds of shellfish to squid, cuttlefish, horseshoe crabs, and seabass prepared in various ways, there was so much to choose from!
And here’s something you don’t see at every buffet: you can actually catch your own live river prawns right beside your table! Yes, they have a dedicated area where you can catch fresh prawns yourself, adding a fun and interactive experience to your seafood feast.

And it’s not just seafood! There are different meats for grilling, a sushi station, teppanyaki, Peking duck, lasagna, chicken wings, and even pizza.
What I particularly enjoyed was the variety of cooking stations where you could have your food freshly prepared. There’s also a make-your-own papaya salad station, which adds a fun Thai touch to the experience.
Save Room for Dessert!

Just when I thought I had seen everything, the dessert section surprised me!
They have mango sticky rice, freshly prepared Thai desserts, and unlimited ice cream with 12 different flavors. Even their Thai milk tea is freshly made!
With so many choices, the biggest challenge wasn’t deciding what to eat—it was figuring out how to try everything without getting too full!
Is Kodtalay Seafood Buffet Worth It?

For the price point, I personally think Kodtalay offers incredible value, especially considering the variety of seafood and other dishes available.
Beyond the food, what impressed me was the massive scale of the restaurant. It’s easily one of the most extensive buffet spreads I’ve encountered throughout my travels.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely!
If you’re visiting Bangkok and love seafood, Kodtalay The Riverfront Seafood Buffet deserves a spot on your food itinerary. Just make sure to arrive hungry!
